Dog (Steal An Egg)

Dog is tied to the Dog Egg from the Forest area. Steal that egg from its spawn on the Forest route, carry it back to your base, and hatch it. The hatched result is decided by the game, and no verified source publishes a probability table for this egg.

Two habits make the attempt safer. First, measure the full pick-up-and-return route before you commit, because the return leg is where most runs are lost. Second, keep a margin above your measured time so a slower server or a contested spawn does not cost you the egg. Neither habit changes the odds. They only make the attempt repeatable.

Dog sits in the Common band, the entry tier you meet in the first areas. The band describes the recorded rarity label only. It is not a probability, and it does not tell you how many attempts a hatch will take.

Rarity is still useful as a filter. It shows which area you should be running and roughly how far into progression the pet belongs. What it cannot do is replace a Money/s comparison, because two pets in the same band can still earn very different amounts.

The recorded Money/s value for Dog is $2/s, and the recorded reward is +460 Speed / $200. Use the Money/s value as the first comparison field, then check the reward to see whether the pet also advances your Speed.
